client
management system for an
international legal business
A
international legal practice based in London needed a system that
would help them track clients and cases. An existing system built
using Filemaker no longer met their needs and they were unable to
contact the developers of this system for support or enhancements.
An evaluation of standard legal practice
management software had revealed that this was expensive and
provided many features that were not required, whilst lacking some
that were considered vital.
- Quinata developed a comprehensive system
covering:
- Client details
- Case details
- Billable hours worked on each case
- Disbursements
- Invoicing
- Staff time recording and training.
The system was developed using a Microsoft SQL
Server database, with Access front ends allowing all ten members of
staff to use the system.
